Maverick's Awards - Application

So you would like to have one of Maverick's awards. OK, however there are a few basic
requirements in order to be eligible for the award.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS for ELIGIBILITY

1. Your pages should not have broken links and/or images that don't show up.
2. Some of the graphics should be designed by yourself.
3. Easy to navigate, fast loading with not to many animations.
4. Should not have to many advertising banners ( one or two is OK ).
5. We appreciate that Web Sites are constantly under construction, however your site should be almost complete.
6. After you receive an Award, you must provide a link back to The Maverick Homepage.
7. "No adult, racist, hate, militaristic or pornographic web sites will be considered!"
8. Any graphics must be on your page and no "remote linking" to graphics.
9. Must have good content, grammar and spelling (however, the context of the Web Site will be taken into consideration)
10. Pages that consist of nothing but links will automatically be disqualified.

NOTE: An entry in the Guest Book would be appreciated, however it is not a requirement to receive an award.

Arrow Award

In order to qualify for this award sites must meet the basic requirements and have significant
information related to aviation and/or the military (NOT Militaristic or Militant).
This award is judged solely by the "Maverick" himself.
Award is further personalized with the flag of the winner's country.

Excellence Award

PLATINUM, GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE

Awarded to sites for excellence in Web Page design.
This award is judged by Maverick's Panel of Judges.
Please read the AWARDS JUDGING criteria.
Award is further personalized with the flag of the winner's country.

Canadian Award

Maverick's 'I am CANADIAN Award'

Awarded to sites that show their pride in CANADA.
The amount of Canadian content determines the level of the award.

1 LEAF - An indication that the site is based in Canada and/or has a few Canadian graphics.
2 LEAF - Site contains a page dedicated to Canada, things Canadian or your hometown and/or some links to Canadian sites.
3 LEAF - Site contains several pages devoted to Canada and many Canadian graphics.
4 LEAF - The ultimate Canadian page. The dedication to Canada is displayed through out the site.

Tiggr is my most favourite character. These awards will be awarded to sites that are
devoted to "Cartoon Character's, Humour or Kid's" related sites.
